Frankfurt a. M. / Lingen, 15th March 2011 – Emco Bad presented itself at ISH 2011 in Frankfurt with new products and additions to its range. The fair highlights included two new bath accessory series which are outstanding for their stylish design, high-quality materials and a wide choice of variations, an innovative illuminated mirror cabinet with dimmable LED lighting and detail-accurate, illuminated and unilluminated cosmetic mirror models. With these the manufacturer enables wide design scope for individual requirement profiles and comfort requirements. As well as the continuous, rational expansion of the product range, intensified collaboration with well-known companies is aimed at selectively addressing current customer requirements and at the same time expanding the market position.

With the new variably designable “Vara” bathroom accessories series the Lingen-based manufacturer presented a high-quality product line to meet in particular user requirements in the higher standard private bathrooms. The new series comprises a basic range of classic bathroom accessories and eight differently designed wall elements. While the bathroom accessories have clearly defined forms in a consistent design, the wall elements with their wide range of variations come in nearly all contemporary styles. The decisive advantage lies here in the freedom with which basic components can be combined with a selected wall element variant and in this way can create a bathroom accessories series to suit individual preferences. At the same time the different styles, says the manufacturer, reflect the design worlds of well-known manufacturers’ leading sanitary fitting and ceramic lines and so enable a consistent and harmonious total look to be achieved for the complete bathroom outfit. To help with the selection of coordinated combinations, the Lingen-based company offers a practical style-finder containing recommendations with regard to appropriate ceramic and fitting products for each wall element alternative.

As part of its diverse “Asis” room system, the company presented the new “Prestige” illuminated mirror cabinet series. Elegantly designed throughout and featuring numerous innovations to meet the highest comfort requirements, the new product represents a functional and aesthetic highlight, particularly in baths of the higher luxury class, says the manufacturer. The illuminated mirror cabinet is the first in the market to feature steplessly dimmable LED lighting all the way round its edge combined with a novel bathroom pole system and laterally movable glass shelves. At the same time the integrated LED technology provides stylish light effects – such as, for instance, illuminated storage boxes and door handles – and very low energy consumption. The new illuminated mirror cabinet models are 650 mm high and are available in three widths – 600, 900 and 1,300 mm – as a build-on version or for pre-wall installation systems.

With the “Asio” series Emco Bad also presented new bathroom accessories for the higher-standard private sphere. Because of its selection of components and material the new product is a very high-quality, independent series. All the bathroom accessories, with their clear, rectilinear forms and high material aesthetic, reflect modern minimalism. Manufacture in traditional craft quality meets top-standard comfort requirements and impresses by its attractive look and quality feel. At the same time the bathroom accessories because of their purist design and functional scope represent an optimum addition to the manufacturer’s innovative “Asis” room system. Thus the slender and elongated proportions of the wall-hanging elements of the new series go well with the slim frames of the modules of the room system. Furthermore, among the bathroom accessories there is a choice of glass and surface variants which, on the one hand, enhance the individual design scope of the series and, on the other, likewise harmonise with the materials of the room system.

A new shaving and cosmetic mirror specially designed to meet requirements in modern, comfortable bathrooms was also presented by Emco Bad at the ISH 2011 in Frankfurt. With this the manufacturer has partly repositioned and at the same time rationally completed its comprehensive product range in this segment. To be able to respond selectively to current market requirements, the new series was developed in close collaboration with customers. The result is seven models which combine an attractive, stylish design with easy-care materials, long-lasting functionality, toughness and durability. Unrestricted user comfort in private bathrooms, hotels, care institutions, office buildings, restaurants and public buildings is thus lastingly ensured. The series features four different models fitted with energy-efficient, dazzle-free LED lighting and three unilluminated variants. High detail accuracy is ensured by mirroring on both sides for threefold and sevenfold magnification. Available are models fitted with a base, enabling the cosmetic mirror to be stood in any desired place, and models with two different wall fastenings. As well as a direct wall holder, the manufacturer, the manufacturer is one of the first companies in the market to offer a stylish wall rail solution with an innovative height adjustment function.

Within the framework of the fair the company further announced that it was now intensifying its collaboration with Geberit to promote intelligent use-of-space solutions through integration of function-oriented modules for washstand, shower, bathtub and WC in pre-wall installation systems. The aim is the further expansion of each company’s respective market position as a result of a multi-product appeal to the core target groups specialist wholesale and specialist sanitary trade within the existing sales and marketing structures. For this, for example, the technical data of the Lingen-based company’s modular units are to be coordinated with those of the pre-wall installation system manufacturer. To mark the official start of the collaboration coordinated fair presentations were mounted at the ISH. In these the companies demonstrated inside a cube measuring 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.7 m how the optimum use of a complete bathroom can be achieved, however small the space, by the integration of both product groups. At the same time, by using the manufacturers’ respective new products the use concept presented is fully in keeping with the trend towards flush-fitted bathroom fittings.
