Substructures

As a particularly effective alternative to dirt removal wells, emco substructures
offer the possibility of managing extremely high occurrences of dirt during especially long intervals between cleaning, and provides raised access for services. Designs B and C are available in fixed construction heights, while design A allows flexible heights up to a maximum of 280 mm.
emco substructures are designed for use in combination with the more robust emco MARSCHALL and PLAZA entrance mats. The solid structure of the PLAZA types enables the substructure to be laid without a grid (Fig. 2).

Construction

The installation frames consist of angled profiles (chrome-nickel steel) with mitred corners that are screwed into place using gusset plates. Extensive widths can be separated by using two angled profiles screwed
together. The frames are supplied with wall anchors.
