In the meantime, the impressive Sony Center has become a new symbol of Berlin. The planning and construction of the sophisticated complex called for genuine teamwork. During the integration of Emco heating technology, the close cooperation between planners, building contractors and Emco climate engineers was also a decisive success factor. Custom solutions, which had to be factored in and promptly implemented, were repeatedly required, not only during the planning phase, but also during the actual work on the Sony building. The ceiling-high window fronts of the Sony Complex necessitated special planning and implementation activities. In this context, a joint decision was made to integrate heating convectors into a double floor. Today a total of 7.5 kilometers of Emco convectors ensure thermal comfort at the hyper-modern Sony Center.
