Not for the first time ever, a company of the emco Group receives international recognition for innovative future trends. Recently, two lights of the emco subsidiary Novus Dahle GmbH. & CO. KG has been awarded the coveted Red Dot Award:
Lingen, June 2018 – Not for the first time ever, a company of the emco Group receives international recognition for innovative future trends. Recently, two lights of the emco subsidiary Novus Dahle GmbH. & CO. KG received the coveted Red Dot Award: the “Novus Attenzia space active HCL” floor lamp and the “Novus Attenzia task” task luminaire won the prize in the “Product Design 2018” category. The development team is proud of this achievement. “What’s important to us when developing products is future-oriented and modern designs, but always in combination with the latest technologies, such as LED lighting technology. We are proud that we receive international recognition from leading specialists for our work, “says Managing Director Frank Indenkämpen. “This is a team effort of a great team.”
The expert jury, consisting of independent designers, design professors and journalists, evaluated submissions from a total of 59 countries. According to the initiators, the award is awarded exclusively to products of outstanding design quality. The decision in favor of LED office lighting was made according to strict evaluation criteria – such as degree of innovation, formal quality or functionality. With the awards, the jury acknowledges both the noble, filigree design and the high product quality of the two models. “These contribute with the latest LED technology, variable settings and sophisticated equipment details to a pleasant and concentrated work,” it says in the jury’s statement.
The Red Dot Award is one of the most recognized design competitions worldwide. The official award ceremony will take place during the Red Dot Gala on July 9, 2018 in Essen.
